Our relationship with nature has always been complex, with hu manity both reliant on and at odds with the environment that sustains us. My journey as a jewelry designer is deeply influenced by this delicate balance. As I became more aware of the negative effects of human activity on the natural world, I was moved to explore how these interactions might shape our future-and how, in the process, we might lose the very things that define our existence.
During my studies at the Birmingham Institute of Jewelry, I was drown to the powerful yet often overlooked beauty of natural elements like rain, sunshine, snow, and the night sky. These every - day phenomena hold profound significance, shaping the rhythm of life on Earth. They are essential for our survival, yet we frequently take them for granted, only noticing when they are dis rupted.
